Duties assigned to European Parliament vice-president Papadimoulis
The European Parliament, following a proposal by the president Martin Schulz, and by an unanimous decision defined the duties of its vice presidents, according to a statement by main opposition party SYRIZA.

The duties that SYRIZA MEP Dimitris Papadimoulis assumed under the September 15 decision enable him among others to replace the President in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and the International Parliamentary Union. Moreover, he was appointed among others responsible for the equal opportunities policies and head of the working group for the gender equality and the diversity.
