Internal rearrangements in SYRIZA due to early elections
Which MEPs are expected to "return" in order to be included in the lists of national elections - Which will hold governmental posts.
The preparations for the national elections in SYRIZA are laborious. Anyway the main opposition party believes that early elections are inevitable, after they find that it is impossible to be found 180 "willing" MPs to elect the President of the Republic in this parliament.
In this context, it is also considered possible to take place upheavals in the group of six MEPs, who were elected with SYRIZA in recent European Elections.
Some of the elected MEPs are expected to be in the lists of national elections, because they will possibly take governmental seats in a possible government of SYRIZA.
Many in the Koumoundouros believe that the political experience of some of MEPs should be used in a government of SYRIZA.
Based on these data there is a strong possibility that Man. Glezos will return to Greece with the opening of the national elections and will be replaced from the runner-up, the journalist Stelios Kouloglou.
Besides, many believe, that in the case of election victory, Mr. Glezos can be used in a critical and high post.
The "return" of the MEP and leading member of SYRIZA, Dimitris Papadimoulis is also considered definite, since he will probably be a member in the future government of SYRIZA. His experience in the broadcasting landscape leaves little room for the possibility to stay in Brussels and not "return" to the domestic political scene.
Also, is very likely the return of the MEP Sophia Sakorafas.
It has not yet finalized what will happen to the former MEP N. Chountis, who is second runner-up and if he will not be in the list candidates for national elections, will be placed in the European Parliament because of other withdrawals. However, it is likely to remain in Europe, because of his rich experience.
There are also questions for other two MEPs, the Constitutionalists C. Katrougalos and K. Chrysogonos.
It is very likely one of them to be included on the lists of national elections and then in a post in government.
Also in the list of the national elections and in a possible governmental post in a government of SYRIZA, will be G. Milios, who was candidate MEP, but was not elected.
