NCRTV approves five applications for TV licences
The National Council for Radio and Television (NCRTV) announced that five media companies have been issued with provisional licences to nationally broadcast television content, after a two-day meeting that ended late on Wednesday.
The NCRTV unanimously agreed that five companies meet the provisions of the Constitution, of the law and of the invitation to tender.
Accordingly, the five provisional licence holders are:
Eidiseis dot com (SKAI)
Nea Tileorasi (StarChannel)
Alpha Satellite TV (Alpha)
Antenna TV (ANT1)
Radiotileoptiki (E TV)
Finally, the council unanimously rejected the application submitted by "Tileoptiki Elliniki".
