We must implement the decisions for demolitions, Pappas says
Digital Policy Minister Nikos Pappas stated that that the reasons for the disaster from the wildfire in eastern Attica are deep and go back to the past.
He said that the dead are part of our national grief and characterised the strong winds (up to 11 on the Beaufort scale) that were blowing in the area while the fire was raging, an extreme phenomenon.
On the demolition of illegal buildings in the area of the fire, the minister said that we must implement the decisions for demolitions adding that the government "will solve the problem", speaking to ANT1 TV on Tuesday.
