Athens Stock Exchange opening: Rise
Equity prices were rising on Monday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index up 0.50 percent standing at 636.45 points at 11.00 am and turnover at 1.39 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 0.54 percent and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was up 0.61 percent.
Individual sector indices were moving mostly upwards with the biggest gains in Banks (+2.62 percent) and Raw Materials (+2.18 percent). The heaviest losses were in Personal Products (-0.46 percent) and in Constructions (-0.25 percent).
Of the stocks traded, 23 were up, 10 were down and 9 were unchanged.
