Tanker that run adrift anchors near Makronissos island

The tanker LNG "Wila" that was adrift due to engine failure has thrown anchor in the sea region south of the island of Makronissos, off the southeast coast of Attica, authorities said on Thursday.
A coast guard vessel remains near the 19-crew tanker.
The vessel had set sail from Curacao, in the Carribean, heading to the Greek port of Lavrio, at the southern tip of Attica.
