Speedboat crashes into fishing boat; two dead, one seriously injured

The 44-year old driver of a speedboat that crashed into a small wooden fishing boat in the sea region of Thini in the region of Argolida on Friday resulting into the death of two men and the serious injury of a woman, gave blood sample for alcohol testing on Saturday.
On board the fishing-boat were three persons, two men aged 60 and 70 and a woman aged 60 that according to information were siblings. The rescuers recovered the bodies of the two men and the injured woman that was transferred to an Athens hospital.
The driver of the speedboat, that was carrying ten tourists from France, appeared voluntarily with his lawyer on Saturday to the port authority of Porto Heli.
The passengers of the speedboat are all well.
