More humanitarian aid to Albania by Attica Region and Athens Medical Association

The Region of Attica and the Athens Medical Association on Friday sent a team of four doctors, of whom three are surgeons, to earthquake-afflicted Albania, along with medical supplies and pharmaceuticals.
The medical team went to capital Tirana's university hospital, where it will aid in the treatment of those injured.
Attica Regional Governor and Athens Medical Association President Giorgos Patoulis said that "both the local authorities and the medical world will continue to support our fellow men in need, beyond borders."
The deadly 6.4 Richter scale temblor that shook Albania on Tuesday has so far claimed the lives of 49 people and injured at least 1,050.
