Eight people arrested during major operation in Exarchia
Eight people were arrested and 20 were detained on Sunday in a major operation in the area of Exarchia.
Six of those arrested during the operation are to face drug-related charges while the other two were foreigners who were not carrying a valid residence permit at the time of their arrest.
Police sources informed the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA) that there will be ongoing operations of this kind in a effort to combat crime and reinforce the citizens' sense of security.
