A 60-year-old man is facing manslaughter charges for unplugging his roommate's ventilator in Covid-19 facilities at Erithros Stavros (Red Cross) Public Hospital on Wednesday night, leading to the latter's death.

The man, who police said of Albanian origin, allegedly unplugged his 76-year-old roommate's ventilator because he was annoyed at the noise it made, said police sources, who added that his fingerprints were found on the machine.
