Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms distinguished in the Anatolian International Olive Oil Competition
An exceptional distinction for a Greek olive producer, with Best in Class and 12 major awards presented to Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms (www.bioarmonia.gr) in Turkey, was earned at the Anatolian International Olive Oil Competition 2021.
At the same time, these 12 awards complete a new record number. The 301 international awards that the organic olive oil products of Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms have collected constitute a world record of awards for a Greek Single Estate olive producer. This event reflects the dynamic of Greek olive cultivation, placing Greece and Sparta Laconia, in the most prominent places on the global olive cultivation map, while being a great and special honour for Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms.
More specifically, these twelve awards come from the first edition of the Anatolian IOOC international competition that was held in Edremit Balikesir, Turkey, from May 31 to June 2, 2021. This international competition applies strict evaluation standards, based on tasting methods defined by the International Olive Oil Council, exclusively by the method of blind tasting.
The tasting of olive oils at Anatolian IOOC 2021 is carried out by expert olive oil tasters (expert panel tasters) of international prestige, coming from different countries of the world.
For 2021, hundreds of olive oils from many olive-producing countries with a very high level of quality participated.
Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms were honored with extremely high awards and specifically:
• With the Best in Class Organic of Anatolian IOOC 2021
• With the best Greek extra virgin organic olive oil
• With 6 gold and 5 silver awards but also very high scores, they ranked among the best olive oils of competition.

All these exceptionally high awards are a special honor for Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms, with the prominent being the declaration of ARMONIA organic olive oil as Best in Class Organic of Turkey for 2021, which comes as a continuation of the respective declaration of Masterpiece Gourmet Evoo as the Best Spicy Flavored Evoo of the AIPO D 'Argento Italy 2021 competition, of the 1st place of Oleoastron Gourmet Evoo in Japan Olive Oil Prize 2021 and 1st place of the Enigma Gourmet Evoo in EVO IOOC Italy 2021.
These twelve (12) major international awards at the Anatolian International Olive Oil Competition 2021 are of particular importance for Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms, as they complete the unique number of 301 international awards worldwide, a record number for a Greek olive producer exclusively of his own olive products.
