Mass transportation changes for May 1

Monday night's routes on the Athens-Thessaloniki railroad line that are scheduled to depart on midnight will be cancelled also. Night trains 600 and 601, departing Athens and Thessaloniki, respectively on Tuesday midnight (to Wed.) will run as usual after the end of the strike.

The Athens metro will run from 09:00 to 18:00, up to the Doukissis Plakentias station (no Airport-Douk. Plakentias runs, which is managed by the proastiakos railway).

The electric train (ISAP) will operate after 08:00 am.

Buses will operate from 09:00 to 21:00, but these are times of departures and arrivals at depots; for example, they will begin to withdraw from 20:00.

Workers at mass transportation issued statements condemning austerity and disregard for workers' rights, while the train staff charges the government with selling off a public good.
