"The end of memoranda and supervision is a historic milestone," government Vice-President and Economy and Development Minister Yiannis Dragasakis said on Monday in a statement to Efimerida To Syntakton.
This new situation is an opportunity for the whole country and not only the government, he added.
"We have to make use of this opportunity and heal the wounds of the crisis and the austerity and protect the society from likely future crises," he underlined.
"The end of the memoranda is also a new starting point for a great social alliance, for a progressive alliance, in order to close the road to the far right and the conservative restoration, for the great changes needed in Greece and Europe," the government Vice-President noted.
