Athens Stock Exchange opening: Rise
EUROKINISSI (ΑΡΧΕΙΟ)
Equity prices were slightly rising on Tuesday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE).
The basic share price index was up 0.72 percent, standing at 862.03 points at 11.00 and turnover was at 5.95 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 0.42 percent and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was up 1.44 percent.
On individual sector indices, the biggest gains were in Public Utilities (+1.88 percent) and in Raw Materials (+1.85 percent). The heaviest losses were in Food (-0.33 percent) and in Telecoms (-0.08 percent).
Of the stocks traded, 54 were up, 8 were down and 4 were unchanged.
