Olympic Air plane forced to return to Thessaloniki by bad weather

An Olympic Air plane flying from Thessaloniki's 'Makedonia' airport to Samos on Monday turned back and returned to Thessaloniki after encountering bad weather, sources said.
According to airport operator Fraport, the plane took off at 11:05 and the pilot asked permission to interrupt the flight and return to Thessaloniki airport 40 minutes later. The plane returned and landed safely at 'Makedonia' airport. The passengers will be taken to Samos on a flight leaving at 13:50.
