State Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis in an interview with Focus 103.6 radio station on Wednesday expressed the government belief that by releasing the country's investment potential, new jobs will be created.
The Minister of State claimed that even before the outbreak of the health crisis, there had been great dynamics in the Greek economy. That is why the economic analysis wants "to have strong growth after the negative curve", he said, conveying the government's feeling that "we will not suffer a big drop in revenues."
It remains, however, the unpredictable factor of how we will react to a second wave of coronavirus, but we are much better prepared.
He also referred to the project of the former Helliniko airport. "These days starts the most emblematic of the investments, the investment of Helliniko, aiming at the creation of 20,000 - 25,000 new jobs."
