Pierrakakis: Vaccinations so far at 6.8 million; platform for 18-24s opening soon
The vaccination platform for the 18-24 age group will open up in a few days, while the number of first and second doses of Covid-19 vaccinations given has reached 6.8 million, Digital Governance Minister Kyriakos Pierrakakis said on Monday in an interview with SKAI TV. "We are running very fast and the process is progressing step by step," he said.
The minister, commenting on the discussion underway regarding the privileges of those who have been vaccinated and obtained a digital vaccination certificate, said that the vaccinations and the legislative process must first be completed.
"There are some prerequisites. The first condition is that everyone who wants to be vaccinated is able to do it, that the system is open for all. The second has to do with the legislation." On the digital employment card, he said that this will be ready the following year.
