New weather system to bring rain and low temperatures
Two low pressure systems will affect the weather in Greece until Sunday, January 27, according to the National Observatory of Athens weather service.
A new weather system, named "Phoebus", will bring rainfall in almost every part of the country, as well as rainstorms and hailstorms in mainly island and coastal areas.
Strong southerly winds reaching up to 9 beaufort will blow in the Aegean until Saturday 26. The temperature is expected to drop towards the end of the week, with snowfall forecast in low-altitude regions of the north.
