New electrified Athens-Thessaloniki railway line to be delivered on Tuesday

The Lianokladi-Domokos section will continue operate with diesel trains for a month, however, until the signals and electric line are fully tested.

"With these projects, ERGOSE has completed a flagship project for the construction of the new railway line on the country's main "Piraeus-Athens-Thessaloniki" rail axis, with a modern and fully interoperable double electrified railway line," said ERGOSE in an announcement on Monday.
