Greek new five-year bond interest rate to range between 3.6-3.7 pct, sources say
The interest rate on the new five-year syndicated bond issue will range between 3.6 pct and 3.7 pct, sources said on Tuesday.
The bookbuilding process of the new five-year bond opened on Tuesday by the five foreign banks commissioned by Greek authorities and it is expected to be completed later in the day. Market sources said that five-year state bonds issued by Brazil, Mexico and Argentina offered similar yields, while in the Eurozone, Italy's five-year bond yielded 1.57 pct, Portugal's 0.46 pct and Spain's 0.2 pct.
