ND leader Mitsotakis accuses PM of having «dared to insult the Greeks again»

Main opposition New Democracy President Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Wednesday strongly criticised statements made by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras the previous day, accusing him of "insulting" the Greeks opposed to the Prespes Agreement.

"Yesterday Mr. Tsipras dared to insult the Greeks again. Not only did he call all those who react to Prespes Agreement far-rightists but also non-thinking," Mitsotakis said.

"He (Tsipras) did this brazenly and irresponsibly, before foreign leaders," Mitsotakis added, while "failing to find words for [Skopje Prime Minister Zoran] Zaev, who insists on calling [Skopje], Macedonia."

"He is not only a minority prime minister, he is also an unworthy prime minister that divides the people. The Greeks should remain united, proud and dignified and very soon they will give him the answer he deserves" he concluded.
