Our common savings are not the fuel for the enrichment of the few, SYRIZA's Pappas says
SYRIZA MP in charge of economic issues Nikos Pappas on Tuesday said that the government wants social security funds to support only a few insurance companies.
"Against this policy we must seek ways for the public wealth to support the social security funds, something that will offer financial safety and security to the beneficiaries," he said.
Finally, Pappas noted that "our common savings are not the fuel for the enrichment of the few," but "the social contract that guarantees protection and healthcare for all and not just those that can afford them".
