Kasselakis to La Stampa: 'Our philosophy in SYRIZA is one of collectiveness'
Main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance leader Stefanos Kasselakis, in an interview with the Italian newspaper La Stampa, noted that "he wants a new Greek sense of pride, for Greeks to be proud of the future and not just the ancient past".
Taxes are the top priority, Kasselakis said, because the country needs a new and simpler taxation system: "Taxes must drop for the lower income brackets and the taxation of business dividends over 220,000 euros should increase, with gradated taxation for all businesses".
Kasselakis also noted that "these changes, along with the new collective labour agreements, which have been decimated, will create a healthier environment".
"Our philosophy in SYRIZA is that of collectiveness. We want solidarity, common mind and unity," he noted.
