Kasselakis: Mitsotakis did not keep his promise to provide online education to the pupils of Gavdos
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has not kept a promise to provide the option of remote online classes for pupils on the small island of Gavdos, located at the southernmost extreme of Greece, main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance leader Stefanos Kasselakis indicated in a social media post on Monday.
"A year ago, Kyriakos Mitsotakis publicly promised to the frontier residents of Gavdos that the island's two high school pupils will have access to online education, so that they can get the same education as their peers from the state while staying in the place they live," he said.
During his visit to Gavdos, Kasselakis said, he had asked the mother of the two pupils whether the prime minister had kept his promise, adding: "You imagine the result."
