Parliamentary committee's report on Tempi train crash ratified
The proposals of the New Democracy committee members regarding the conclusions of the parliamentary inquiry set up for "the investigation of the crime in Tempi" were ratified, concluding the committee's work.
In the conclusions, which were approved "by majority" in a session on Monday, the opinions of the minority will also be recorded.
Upon ratification of its findings, the work of the committee of MPs that investigated the causes of the railway accident of February 28, 2023 has been completed. The committee's findings, together with the relevant evidence, will be submitted to the plenary session of Parliament, while - in accordance with the Parliament's Rules of Procedure - and following a proposal by 60 MPs, the report will be placed on the agenda for discussion.
