We can be proud of being Greeks for a lot of things.
Another element that distinguishes us is the quality of our wines.
The "Wine Enthusiast" magazine published its list of the best destinations of 2014 for wine connoisseurs.
Among the 10 destinations with excellent wine production is Greece, especially the islands of the Aegean.
In order for a place to enter in this list, the good quality wine is not enough; guests are also looking for good food and fun activities.
“It is a combination along with the aura of each place”, highlights the magazine. “Greece has been producing wine for more than 1000 years, but the last decade, the quality of wine has improved incredibly”, noted in the journal and proposes to visit wineries in Santorini , Samos and Crete.
The list is completed with places in: Italy, USA, Argentina, Germany, Australia and France.
