Moderate earthquake rattles central Greece; felt in Athens
A moderate earthquake shook central Greece early on Tuesday (09/06) and was felt as far away as Athens, Greek authorities said.
The quake of 5.3 magnitude occurred at 04.09, the Athens Geodynamic Institute said. Its epicenter was 26 km northwestern of Chalkida, on Evia island.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
