Work stoppage on the Athens' metro on Tuesday

The Athens metro employees' union decided to hold a warning work stoppage on Tuesday in protest against the transfer of employees from their official positions to other departments.

Additionally, the union demands the immediate hiring of permanent staff to cover vacant posts and the 'recall of all the unilateral transfers,' noting that 'no colleague will be transferred until the union is informed'.
