Greek enterprises' turnover up 35.5% in 2022
Greek enterprises' accumulated turnover jumped 35.5% or by around 121 billion euros in 2022, totaling 461,242,602,000 euros from 340,283,110,000 euros in 2021, Hellenic Statistical Authority said on Tuesday.
More specifically, enterprises in the hospitality sector recorded a 51.8% increase in turnover, while enterprises in human health and social care recorded the smallest increase (2.2%). In the fourth quarter of 2022, accumulated turnover grew 24% to 125,212,894,000 euros, from 100,967,883,000 euros in the corresponding period in 2021. Education enterprises recorded the biggest increase (35.1%), while water processing, waste management the smallest increase (4%).
